Our 7 year old boy whipped up this fine camera case.

Using big needles & chunky yarn, he cast on 9 stitches & made a long rectangle.

I used a crochet hook and wove up the sides, leaving a smallish opening that the camera could pop in and out of, since there was no button hole.

Perfectly functional.

The chunky yarn gives good padding.

Great work my boy, you chose, designed & completed this project  entirely of your own will.  Now mama wants one too.
Of note, the boy made every stitch perfectly, with no help, no dropped stitches or going back.  I'm impressed!
