I have been making hats.  Many, many hats.

This one is a favourite.

It is the wool I like, the way I spun it.

We washed the raw wool last year.  I didn't get around to carding it (I only have hand carders).

I decided to just spin it, uncarded & I like the effect.  Little bits curl off the strands.  It looks almost like a sheep skin.

She sucks & kneads it, purring so loud.

      

The fibre was given to me by a friend, she got it from a local farm.
