We hosted a cob oven plastering workshop this weekend, the final coat . Of course, the boys were right in there. Cobbing is perfect for kids. The folks we met were wonderful, the weather was hot & sunny, & no mosquito complaints round here. The finished result of the oven is beautiful! Lucky us.
Then off to the river for a well deserved dip!
Oh my, this is simply beautiful!!! What a work of art, one that functions, too! I asked your biggest boy at the beach if he's had home-made bread in it yet, and he said, "Oh yes, of course! It's really good!" Happiness at the outdoor hearth.
